Health and Safety

Here are a few important health and safety items to be aware of.

An AED is located at the Clubhouse ground-floor entrance, opposite the entryway. This device, now common in many public facilities, can be used safely by anyone to assist someone experiencing a cardiac emergency. It is also important to know the basics of CPR.

Club Water System

The club’s water comes from a deep well and is tested regularly for bacterial contamination. It is safe to drink unless an adverse test result occurs, which has not happened to date. However, water on the docks should not be considered potable because it remains in the pipes for too long and contains no residual chlorine for protection. If you use dock water on your boat, add chlorine to your tanks to help keep the water fresh and bring bottled water for drinking.
